Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases made from Poster Collector through our website or by phone. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1) Custom Products and Proof Approval
Most of our products are custom-made and produced based on information provided by you.
- If you upload a print-ready file (image, vector, artwork, etc.), we will print it as submitted (“AS IS”).
- If you create a design using our online tools, your submitted design is considered approved for printing.
We may attempt to catch obvious issues, but it is your responsibility to review your design carefully before production.
2) Color Accuracy and Print Variations
Printed colors may differ from what you see on a screen.
- Screen colors vary by device settings, brightness, calibration, and color profiles.
- Printing materials, inks, and finishing processes can also cause slight variations.
For best results, please provide files using CMYK color profiles when applicable. By placing an order, you acknowledge that minor color variation is normal and is not considered a defect.
3) Designs Created by Our Team
If our team creates a layout or design for you:
- We will provide a proof (typically a low-resolution preview) for your review.
- Once you approve the proof, we will proceed to production.
After proof approval, we are not responsible for issues that were visible in the proof, including spelling, phone numbers, sizes, layout choices, or other content approved by you.
If we make a mistake that was not present in the approved proof, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
4) Customer-Provided Files (“Print AS IS”)
If you provide your own files, you confirm that you have reviewed:
- spelling and numbers
- dimensions and bleed/safe areas (if applicable)
- image quality/resolution
- correct color setup
We print customer-provided files AS IS. You acknowledge that a reasonable color shift may occur due to printing and material factors.
5) Fraudulent Returns and Misuse
We do not accept returns or refunds for misuse or fraud, including “use and return” practices, false claims, or returning products that are:
- used in events and then returned
- not in the same condition as received
- clearly damaged by the customer or by improper handling
6) Event Deadlines, Shipping Delays, and Liability Limits
We do our best to meet production timelines and ship orders promptly. However, shipping carriers may experience delays outside our control.
We are not responsible for event-related costs or losses beyond the value of the products purchased from us. Our maximum liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the affected product(s).
7) Installation and Use of Products
We do not provide installation services. You are responsible for safe installation and use of products. Poster Collector is not liable for damages to property, people, animals, or buildings resulting from improper installation, misuse, weather conditions, or improper mounting.
8) Order Cancellations
Because products are custom-made, cancellations are time-sensitive:
- Orders may be canceled only before production begins.
- Once an order has been printed or production has started, it cannot be canceled.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation. Weekend orders may be processed even when the office is closed.
9) Pricing & Order Policy
We strive to keep all pricing, product descriptions, and information accurate and up to date. However, errors or inaccuracies may occasionally occur, including pricing or availability issues.
All orders are subject to review prior to production. If we identify an error in pricing, product details, or availability after an order has been placed, we reserve the right to correct such errors.
In the event of a pricing or listing error, we will contact you promptly and offer you the option to:
- proceed with the order at the corrected price, or
- receive a full refund.
Order confirmation emails are automated system notifications and do not constitute a binding contract. An order is considered accepted only after review and confirmation prior to production.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if it cannot be fulfilled as intended due to pricing errors, technical issues, product availability, or other reasonable circumstances.
10) Uploaded Materials and Prohibited Content
If you upload or submit materials (“Materials”) for printing, you agree that you will not submit content that is:
- unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or privacy-invasive
- hateful or discriminatory
- not lawfully yours to transmit
- infringing copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property
- containing malware or harmful code
- intended to disrupt our services
We may refuse orders associated with prohibited content and remove such materials when identified.
11) Intellectual Property and Indemnification
You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use and reproduce any text, logos, trademarks, photos, artwork, or other intellectual property you submit.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poster Collector and its affiliates, employees, and agents from claims arising from the materials you provide for printing.
12) Art Release Policy (Digital Files)
We primarily provide printed products. Digital design files are not included unless stated otherwise. If you intend to request digital design files created by our designers, please review our Art Release Policy before purchasing.
13) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website.
