Art Release Policy
At Poster Collector, our primary business is custom printing. When you purchase a custom product from us, you are paying for design services and printed output — not ownership or external usage rights to the artwork.
Scope of This Policy
This policy explains the terms under which artwork and designs created by or for Poster Collector may be used. By placing an order through our website, phone, or direct payment links, you agree to this policy.
Ownership of Artwork
- All artwork created by Poster Collector remains our intellectual property unless stated otherwise in writing.
- Purchasing a printed product does not transfer ownership, copyright, or usage rights.
- Artwork may be used only as part of the printed products we produce.
Customer-Provided Files
When clients provide their own images or artwork, they are paying only for the time our designers spend preparing files for printing. Clients confirm they hold all legal rights to use the materials provided.
Art Release (External Usage Rights)
If you wish to use artwork created by Poster Collector outside of our printing services, an art release is required.
- Art release fees start at $350.
- Fees may increase based on complexity and intended use.
- All terms must be agreed upon in writing and paid in full before files are released.
Released files are provided as-is, with no guarantee of compatibility with third-party printers or software.
Restrictions
Without an approved art release, artwork may not be reused, modified, resold, distributed, or used with other printers.
Legal Responsibility
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poster Collector from any claims arising from the use of customer-provided materials or unauthorized use of artwork.
